The Ministry of Climate Resilience, The Environment and Renewable Energy invites all citizens, organisations, and communities across Grenada to participate in World Earth Day 2026 on Wednesday, 22 April 2026.
This year’s national initiative, Parish Tree Planting and Earth Dress Day, aims to promote environmental sustainability, raise awareness, and encourage collective action in protecting our natural environment.
How you can participate
Citizens and organisations are encouraged to:
- wear Earth colours (green or blue) on 22 April in support of environmental awareness
- participate in an earth-friendly activity, such as planting a tree, starting a garden, cleaning up your surroundings, or reducing waste
- encourage friends, family, and colleagues to join in and support the initiative
- capture your activities and share your photos to help showcase Grenada’s collective commitment to sustainability. Be sure to tag us on Facebook and Instagram so we can feature your contributions as part of the National Earth Day observance
Collective Effort
This initiative brings together government ministries, the business community, faith-based organisations, community groups, and citizens in a unified effort to promote environmental responsibility and national pride. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and contribute to a greener, more sustainable Grenada.
Let’s stand together this Earth Day. Join the ministry in celebrating World Earth Day 2026 under the theme Our Planet, Our Power.
