By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a stabbing on Euphrates Avenue, Belize City ocurring earlier this evening, in which the victim was transported to the KHMH by police.
A sixteen-year-old minor was seen with a cut wound to his abdominal area. He mentioned he got into an altercation in front of Vinhong Store with another male person who inflicted the said injury. As a result, Medico forms were issued.
Further investigating found that the minor and a 17-year-old minor approached Sylvio Argel Basto, a driver, where both began to beat him. During the struggle, Basto took out a knife belonging to his workplace and allegedly stabbed the 16-year-old.
