The Humane Society of St. Thomas (HSSTT) is excited to announce its Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Kids, a family-friendly spring celebration that brings together the community for a fun-filled day – and it’s all for a great cause!
Join us on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the HSSTT Animal Care Campus across from the entrance to Cost U Less/Home Depot on the Wilmoth Rhymer Highway for an egg-citing event packed with colorful eggs, sweet treats, and adorable adoptable animals.
Children of all ages are invited to participate in the hunt, take photos with the Easter Bunny, enjoy crafts, and learn more about the wonderful pets looking for their forever homes.
“This event is one of our favorite ways to connect with families and celebrate the season,” said Kathryn Kennington, HSSTT Shelter Manager. “Not only is it a fun day for the kids, but it also helps us raise awareness for pet adoption and the work we do year-round.”
Event Highlights Include:
• Easter Egg Hunt for 1,200 eggs – Under 5 hunt at 11:30, All Ages hunt at Noon
• Photos with the Easter Bunny with an Easter parade down to the park
• Meet-and-greet with adoptable animals
• Face painting, craft stations, and lots of giveaways
• Refreshments and snacks available for children
• Fancy Bloody Mary’s & Mimosas for purchase
• Shelter and adoption information
Admission is $10, with donations gratefully appreciated all going directly toward the care of animals in need. Families are encouraged to bring their own baskets and arrive early—eggs go fast! For more information, please visit hsstt.org.
