MINISTER OF TOURISM, Civil Aviation and Sustainable Development Dr. Kishore Shallow has acknowledged the Unity Labour Party (ULP) administration’s investment in the Argyle International Airport (AIA), and says the current administration will build on it.
“…government should be like a baton and certainly, it was a fantastic investment in the Argyle International Airport by the previous government or dispensation, which you have rightly received credit for,” he said on Saturday, December 20, 2025.
“…with this new dispensation- the new government- we are surely committed to building on such foundation because we understand the importance of allowing St Vincent and the Grenadines to have full access to the rest of the world, and so we will continue to work diligently to modernize our civil aviation policies to enhance safety and security standards and to ensure compliance with international best practices,” Dr. Shallow said at a press briefing at the AIA.
