The All Saints United Football Club has named a 21-member squad as they prepare for this year’s Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Sheild slated to start next week in Trinidad.
Top goal-scorer in this year’s Premier Division with 20 strikes and national striker, Raheem Deterville, headlines the selections. He is joined by veteran defenders Vashami Allen and Blake Thompson, striker Shalon Knight, midfielder D’Andre Bishop and goalkeeper Jayden Martin
United will open their Group C campaign against SCSA Eagles out of St Maarten on July 27.
The other teams in Group C are Police FC (Trinidad), Wolues FC (BVI), Weymouth Wales FC (Barbados), SV Transvaal (Suriname) and SCSA Eagles (St Maarten).
All Saints United qualified for the CFU tournament after having won the 2003/4 Premer Division title on goal difference over Grenades FC who finished as runners-up in last year’s tournament after having won the 2022/23 Premier Division title.
All Saints United, the reigning Premier Division champions after claiming the 2024/25 title, are set to leave for Trinidad on July 25.
