By Zoila Palma: Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan Dr. Candice Pitts attended the commencement and tassel-turning ceremony at National Dong Hwa University, where three Belizean students were among the graduating class.
The event marked a proud moment for Belize as Clara Gabriella Choc, Samuel Ian Chavarria, and Luis Fernando Pacheco completed their academic programs.
During her address, Ambassador Pitts congratulated the graduates and offered words of encouragement. She urged them to continue striving toward their full potential and to lead lives filled with purpose and impact.
The ceremony highlighted the growing academic ties between Belize and Taiwan, with the Ambassador’s presence underscoring Belize’s commitment to supporting its students abroad.
