A HUGE music legend will take to the stage in Glasgow later this year.
American icon Smokey Robinson will embark on a UK tour to celebrate a special milestone.
The motown crooner, 85, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of his breakthrough album.
Smokey released “A Quiet Storm” in 1975 which became one of his first ever major successes in the music world.
As part of the celebrations, he will perform five shows for fans in the UK this summer.
He will kick off his tour north of the border by performing in Glasgow.
The star will take to the stage of the SEC Armadillo on July 3.
He will then travel south to perform at the Love Supreme Festival in Glynde, East Sussex, on July 5.
His next stop will be the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on July 8.
On July 9 Smokey will head over to Wales and perform at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff.
And he will finish his UK tour will a concert at the Eventim Apollo in London.
Tickets for the Glasgow concert are currently on sale for anywhere between £50 and £137.
“These special shows mark the 50th anniversary of ‘A Quiet Storm’, an album that is truly special to me.
“So whilst I want to honour that record, and those amazing times, this will also be a celebration of everything that has come before and we will be performing all the hits.
“It’s been over 10 years and I cannot wait to return in July 2025 and entertain all my UK fans”.
