A new flight is making it easier to get to Aruba this summer, and it’s starting next week.
Frontier Airlines is set to launch a new nonstop route connecting Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Queen Beatrix International Airport in Aruba.
The service begins May 24 and will operate every Saturday through August 16, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The seasonal flight departs Atlanta at 10:13 AM and arrives in Aruba at 2:20 PM. The return leg leaves Aruba at 3:35 PM, landing in Atlanta just before 8 PM. Frontier will operate the route using its 230-seat Airbus A321 aircraft.
The new flight adds 230 weekly seats between Atlanta and Aruba, complementing existing service by Delta Air Lines, which runs the route twice daily. It’s a boost in both frequency and flexibility during Aruba’s high-demand summer travel period.
With its growing footprint across major U.S. cities, Frontier’s arrival in Aruba adds to the island’s already strong airlift from the United States.
It’s also part of a growing Caribbean network for Frontier, which has set its sights on regional expansion.
The carrier now offers 16 nonstop routes to Aruba, and becomes the 29th airline to serve the destination—joining all major American carriers currently flying to the island.
Aruba’s airport continues to expand its connectivity, with Atlanta serving as a strategic gateway to the southeastern U.S. and beyond.
