While The Palace Company reported that the fire that broke out in a parking area adjacent to the project was promptly and effectively contained,
it emphasized that this was possible thanks to the immediate activation of the company’s security protocol and the coordinated support of emergency agencies.
“We express our sincere gratitude to the Punta Cana Fire Department, local authorities, the institutions involved in emergency response, and our tourism sector partners, who acted with professionalism, speed, and commitment to contain the incident 100%,” he added.
He stated that no injuries or significant structural damage have been reported. “The safety of our staff, contractors, and our facilities is The Palace Company’s top priority. Therefore, comprehensive technical evaluation protocols for the site have been immediately activated, including specialized expert reports that will determine the causes of the event and strengthen our preventive measures.”

The fire caused great uncertainty among residents of that area. Several fires have been reported in that part of the country in recent months.
