By Zoila Palma: Tour guide Ricky Pereira found the remains of a baby ocelot this morning on the Southern Highway.
The picture was shared by Hopkins Uncut.

The remains of the baby ocelot was found —just 500 yards north of where a jaguar was struck yesterday.
The Forestry Department and the Belize Audubon Society responded to the report.
Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution around Mile 16 on the Southern Highway, an area that appears to be a critical hotspot for Belize’s rare and endangered wild cats.
