By Horace Palacio: As the final day of March rolls in, Belize remains firmly under the grip of fair, warm, and mostly dry weather. Today’s forecast offers plenty of sunshine, occasional clouds, and just a medium chance for an isolated thunderstorm over the Maya Mountains during the late afternoon or evening.
Inland temperatures are expected to soar to a scorching 96°F (36°C), while coastal areas stay slightly cooler at 88°F (31°C). Tonight will be clear to partly cloudy, with no major rainfall expected outside of any lingering mountain showers.

Marine conditions remain active, with winds from the E-SE at 10-20 knots, occasionally gusty. Waves are predicted to reach up to 7 feet, prompting a small craft caution for boaters. Mariners should be alert for choppy seas and gusty conditions.
Looking ahead, Tuesday will bring more of the same — clear skies, warm temperatures, and only isolated showers possible, especially over southern Belize.
