AXED Big Brother housemate George Gilbert has made a return to social media following his removal from the house.
The housemate has updated the privacy settings on his Instagram account to allow it to be public.
His profile is littered with shots from his desperate quest for fame through various extra and background roles in the acting industry.
He also regularly poses for modelling shots which appear to have been taken for part of his own portfolio.
However, it is George’s celebrity connections that are likely to take people by surprise.
The fame-hungry 23-year-old has worked with chart superstar Ed Sheeran on a number of occasions.

Big Brother’s George gets into furious row with Jenny & Zelah before he’s axed
It appears ginger George has regularly worked as a double for Ed.
Ed isn’t the only famous ginger he has worked with as the Big Brother housemate was also on set with Harry Potter star Rupert Grint at the same time.
Hanging out with Ed and Rupert in August on a music video shoot, George wrote: “Bury St. Edmunds wif ma bae again. And Grinty. What a week it was.”
George even dropped his trousers for one of the snaps as he showed off in just his underwear.
Aspiring actor George first worked with Ed in May 2023.
He said of their first meeting: “I’ve never done the whole ‘idol’ thing myself, but if you’re going to have one, Ed is one of the good guys.
“A resilient, talented, down-to-earth geezer who even drives himself to set.”
As part of his quest for stardom, he also appeared as an extra in an Elizabeth Hurley Debenhams Christmas advert.
George proved to be this year’s most controversial housemate and was kicked off the programme earlier this week.
The housemate was axed by ITV bosses after ‘unacceptable language and behaviour’.
Sources tell The Sun that George left his co-stars horrified after making offensive comments which could be interpreted as antisemitic and was immediately called to the Diary Room and ejected from the house.
“Everyone was absolutely disgusted,” an insider says. “Nobody could believe what he said – he was clearly out to shock people.”

- Richard, 60, a composer and author from London.
Following his exit, he issued a statement which read: “As a flag bearer of freedom of speech I never hesitate to discuss and question any topic regardless of how contentious it may be.
“Sadly, the boundaries of what is deemed offensive are subjective and I evidently went too far this time by crossing their line one too many times.
“It is a shame that specific debate could not be had and that it has had to end like this. Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me.”

The incident comes after 23 year old parish councillor George was spoken to over a homophobic hand gesture at housemate Sam, leaving him in tears.
George also clashed with Teja in a row over immigration and was accused of fat-shaming housemate Cameron after telling him to stop eating a biscuit.
