Information reaching BVI News is that Director of Communications in the Premier’s Office, Karia Christopher, has died.
She reportedly passed away at home sometime on Friday, December 5.
Details of her sudden passing are still unclear at this time, but our news centre understands that she had been battling an illness.
Christopher served in several roles within the public sector, including Director of Trade, Investment Promotion and Consumer Affairs; Sister Islands Programme Coordinator; and Chief Administrative Officer of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission.
