While acknowledging that a small number of nationals have overstayed or incurred unpaid public expenses abroad, Cabinet emphasized that Antigua and Barbuda maintains a low overstay rate and a strong record of cooperation with U.S. authorities.
On the Prime Minister’s instructions, formal diplomatic engagement has been initiated at the highest levels, including the submission of a diplomatic note, with the Government seeking fair and equal treatment for Antiguan and Barbudan passport holders.
