The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) will take part in WTM Latin America 2025 in São Paulo, Brazil, from April 14 to 16.
For the first time, the CTO will have a special Caribbean Pavilion at the event. This will bring together several Caribbean countries in one place to show off what the region offers.
Countries taking part include Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Dominica, Guyana, Saint-Martin, and Turks & Caicos. The pavilion will be at Booth M90 and will give these countries a chance to meet with important travel businesses from Latin America.
Latin America is becoming more important as a source of visitors to the Caribbean. CTO’s goal at this event is to build strong partnerships, attract more tourists, and show the wide variety of things to do in the Caribbean.
The pavilion will be a place for business meetings and will have services in different languages to help communication. The Caribbean countries will meet with tour companies, travel agents, and journalists to grow their presence in this market.
Dona Regis-Prosper, the Secretary General and CEO of CTO, said they are excited to join WTM Latin America. She mentioned that there is more air travel between the regions and more interest from Latin American tourists. The event gives Caribbean countries a great chance to show their unique attractions, new tourism projects, and business opportunities.
The company EM Marketing & Communication helped set up this partnership. They used their knowledge of tourism marketing to help the CTO get involved in the Latin American market. Elsa Petersen, CEO of EM Marketing, said she was happy to support the CTO. She added that the pavilion shows the Caribbean’s special appeal and helps create partnerships that can grow tourism in a lasting way.
The CTO will also use the event to promote sustainable tourism. This means encouraging responsible travel that protects nature and culture. The countries will talk with businesses about working together, adding new flights, and reaching more tourists.
WTM Latin America is one of the biggest travel trade shows in the region. It brings together travel experts from many countries. CTO will also meet with media at the event to promote the Caribbean as a top travel spot for Latin American tourists looking for sun, beaches, culture, and adventure.
