Dominica Electricity Services Ltd (DOMLEC ) is investigating an outage that affected customers along the West Coast from Jimmit to Sugar Loaf in the North.
The announcement was made via the company’s Facebook page on Tuesday.
This interruption occurred at about 6:18PM.
“We are at this point [are] unsure of the cause. Please bear with us as we seek to resolve and restore service,” the post said.
DOMLEC apologised for any inconvenience caused to customers.
UPDATE as of 7:25PM: Service has been restored along the West Coast and in some northern communities. However, there is still no power between Hodges and North End. A crew is en route to the area.
