Dozens of fireworks displays lit up the night sky over Cayman as the islands welcomed 2026 with a bang.
Streaks of red, gold and green, flashed across the sky as revellers bid farewell to 2025 and celebrated the coming of the new year.
There were similar scenes across the globe from Sydney to New York, with the famous chimes of Big Ben bringing in the new year in London.
In Cayman, the celebrations began at 8pm with a family-focused new year’s event at Camana Bay, before glitzy displays at midnight across Seven Mile Beach and beyond.
