Four Cayman-based professionals have been named in the Captive Review Power 50 for 2025, which ranks the 50 most influential individuals in the global captive insurance industry.
Earlier in the month, Cayman was named the top offshore domicile and second overall globally, in Business Insurance’s Captive Domicile Rankings for year-end 2024.
This year’s Power 50 list received nearly 2,000 nominations and reflects the breadth and excellence of leadership within the captive sector, a press release from the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman stated.

Commenting on the four who were honoured, IMAC chair Kieran Mehigan said in the release, “We are proud to see four outstanding individuals from our jurisdiction acknowledged among the most influential voices globally.
“Their achievements reflect not only personal excellence, but also the collaborative and innovative spirit that continues to position the Cayman Islands at the forefront of the international captive insurance industry.”

The honourees are:
Suzanne Sadlier (ranked 12)
Sadler is the executive vice president – captive management, North America, for Artex Risk Solutions. Her influence spans both offshore and onshore captive markets, the release said. With responsibility for captives across Bermuda, Cayman, Hawaii, Vermont, and South Carolina, she has been a key driver of Artex’s continued growth and innovation, it added.
Paul Macey (23)
Macey, the president of USA Risk Group, has been a “pillar of Cayman’s captive industry” since joining that firm in 2005, the release said, noting that, under his leadership, the firm has grown to become the fifth largest manager in Cayman. Last year, USA Risk was named Captive Management Firm of the Year, with Macey receiving Captive Manager in the 2024 Captive International Cayman Awards.
Jenny Pooley (35)
Pooley is the managing director and CEO of Strategic Risk Solutions Cayman. Her “exceptional leadership has propelled SRS Cayman to the top of the industry”, the press release said, adding the firm is now the largest captive manager in the jurisdiction.
Alanna Trundle (39)
Trundle is the president of Global Captive Management, having risen through the ranks of the firm. She has “played a vital role in GCM’s management of 63 international insurance companies and is recognised for championing women in leadership and driving innovation in group and SPC captives”, the release said.
