By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 22-year-old Belize City man accused of being a member of the Back-Ah-Land Crips gang walked free on Thursday after prosecutors offered no evidence against him.
Kameron Williams, of Police Street in the Saint Martin De Porres area, appeared unrepresented in Court #5 where he faced the serious charge of gang membership. However, the prosecution abruptly informed the court that no evidence would be presented, leading the Magistrate to dismiss the case.

Williams’ ordeal began in July 2024 when he was first charged and remanded for 90 days. He was later re-detained and remanded for another 90 days shortly after being granted bail. With today’s dismissal, he is no longer required to return to court on the matter.
