By Zoila Palma: The Garifuna Collective has returned to Belize after a short residency at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
They took their music and culture to campus with a powerful concert at Bailey Hall, an energizing drumming workshop, and an inspiring panel discussion on Garifuna language and cultural history.

The National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) noted that the Garifuna Collective also performed at a community arts event at the Hangar Theatre celebrating Black History Month.
Music, rhythm, and stories—shared, celebrated, and carried forward.
