by Grenada Food and Nutrition Council
The Grenada Food and Nutrition Council (GFNC) has released its new 3-Day Food Supply Guide posters. It is a timely and practical tool to help every household prepare and be food secure before disaster strikes.
These user-friendly posters offer clear, visual guidance on the types and amounts of food needed to sustain a household of 2 or 5 people for at least 3 days, the critical window in which outside help may be delayed after a storm or emergency. From staple carbohydrates to proteins, canned vegetables, and essential items, the guide takes the guesswork out of emergency food planning.
GFNC urges all families to save up, stock up, and store wisely. With a little planning, your home can become a safe haven in the aftermath of any disaster.

The posters will be widely distributed through schools, churches, community groups, local councils and local social media influencers.
