Grenadian bodybuilders made a powerful statement at the 2025 IFBB Roger Boyce Classic, held at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium in Barbados on 10 May.
The team delivered an outstanding performance, with top 3 finishes and walking away with 2 IFBB Pro Cards and 2 Semi-Pro cards, cementing Grenada’s growing reputation as a bodybuilding powerhouse in the region.
Grantly Charles secured 1st place in the Men’s Physique (Above 176 cm) category and claimed the Overall Winner title, earning an IFBB Pro Card. Renaldo Parkes finished in 2nd place in the Men’s Physique (Under 176 cm) category and was also awarded an IFBB Pro Card.
Kevon Frederick showcased incredible sportsmanship, winning 1st place in the Classic Bodybuilding Open Class and earning the Overall Winner title. He also placed 2nd in Classic Physique Open Class. Frederick also placed 3rd in Lightweight Bodybuilding, earning a Semi-Pro Card.
Will Enoe took home 2nd place in Lightweight Bodybuilding, also receiving a Semi-Pro Card. Odel Cato finished 3rd in Men’s Physique (Above 176 cm), rounding out a strong team showing.

The team was coached by IFBB Pro Vonne Francis and IFBB Pro Elite Damion Daniel, including Coach Victor Williams. Also accompanying the team were Vonne Francis, Victor Williams and President of the Grenada Bodybuilding Weightlifting and Fitness Federation, Cecil Mitchell.
The Roger Boyce Classic continues to be a key platform for Caribbean athletes to gain international recognition, and Grenada has once again proven that it belongs at the top. With Grenada having earned 2 of the 21 pro cards that were up for grabs at the event, it means the athletes have achieved professional status in the world of competitive bodybuilding under the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) and is now eligible to compete in professional IFBB Pro League shows.
