HEARTS are down to ten men at Hampden after the dismissal of Michael Steinwender but are still on level terms after Lawrence Shankland levelled a Craig Gordon own goal.
Neil Critchley’s men are in desperate need of progression in a final attempt to rescue their season – but they’re shorthanded following the dismissal of the Austrian.
The Jambos missed out on top six on the final day before the Premiership’s split with a 0-0 draw against Motherwell, with St Mirren taking the sixth spot.
They also lost their previous two games before that, with their last win coming on March 15 at home against Ross County.
