Grenada’s Investment Migration programme has directly contributed almost US$2 billion to Government’s revenues during the past 10 years of its operations, which has significantly impacted growth within the Grenadian economy.
The inward investment it promotes has led to the creation of sustainable long-term employment, specialist training, and the general broadening of skills for numerous Grenadians.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to join the expanding team of the Investment Migration Agency (IMA) Grenada, as a Corporate Secretary.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Advise the CBI committee on good governance best practices
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all applicable, laws, regulations, regulatory standards and agreements governing Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme
- Establish, implement and annually review the Charters of the CBI committee and its sub-committees
- Conduct induction, onboarding and orientation training for newly appointed committee members
- Ensure all committee members are knowledgeable and up to date about their roles as committee members, in general and in the Investment Migration sector in particular
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures and systems for timely conduct of the annual strategic planning exercise in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act
- Collaborate with the CEO to ensure that all Parliamentary, Ministerial and Regulatory Reports, Returns and Filings are timely and accurate
- Act as the communication bridge between the CBI committee and the CEO; and communicate all committee decisions to the CEO
- Manage all committee and sub-committee meeting logistics, attend and record all minutes of committee and sub-committee meetings; facilitate committee and sub-committee communications in accordance with their charters, policies and procedures
The preferred mix of qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills includes:
- First degree in Management, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law or related field or any equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge and skills
- Training, Certification or accreditation in:
- CharteredSecretaryship
- Corporate Governance
- Average 3–5 years’ experience in a governance, compliance, risk, or regulatory managerial role
