The family of James A. Myers Sr. regrets to announce his passing on April 20, 2025 in St. Thomas at the age of 80.

James was the valedictorian when he graduated from High School. James worked in the 70’s and 80’s with Mannasah Bus Line (now VITRAN Bus Company) as a mechanic. He also worked with National Car Rental and as an independent taxi driver for many years. James was last employed with Kelly’s Taxi Service and ATS Taxi Service.
His home-going service is as follows: The first viewing will take place on Tuesday, May 6 at Turnbull’s Funeral Home from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. The second viewing will take place on Wednesday, May 7 at Wesley Methodist Church in Anna’s Retreat beginning at 9 a.m. followed by the service at 10 a.m.
James is survived by his children: Milissa, Mary, and James Myers Jr.; Stepson: Elvis Benjamin; Brother-in-Law: Charles Phipps Sr.; Sister-in-Law: Linda Myers; Nieces: Yvonne Williams, Joycelyn Shorter, Polmina Anijah, Claudette Hazell, Sharon Hepburn, Lynette Smith, Yvette Crawford, Patricia Myers, Andrea Myers, Carol Clarke, and Lavinia Myers; Nephews: Eustace Browne, Casworth Mathis, William Phipps, Charles Phipps Jr., Elvette Myers, Nelson Myers, Wilson Myers, and Anthony Myers; Grand Children: Rachel and Khalil Naggie, Adejah & James Myers Jr., and Isaiah Turnbull; Adopted Grand Child: Faith Joseph; Great Grand Child: Amyrah Luzunaris; God Daughter: Nesta Seaton Clarke Special Friends: Hamlet Williams, Martha Valazquez, Miriam Cannonier, Janice Clause, Randy, Iglesia De Dios Church Family and friends, Wesley Methodist Church Family, Calvary Baptist Church Family, VI Christian Ministries Church Family, The Smith’s Family, and many more extended family and friends too numerous to mention.
