The Government of Grenada, in collaboration with the Government of Japan, is currently accepting applications from Grenadian nationals who wish to apply for the Japanese Government Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship Programme to pursue postgraduate studies (PhD) in Japan.
This scholarship opportunity is for the academic year 2025. Interested applicants are invited to visit the website of the Embassy of Japan for additional information regarding the application procedure and other relevant information. Suitable applicants will be required to attend an online interview and sit an examination in Grenada. Successful applicants will be selected after careful consideration by the relevant authorities in Japan.
Please note that the submission deadline for completed applications to the Embassy and a copy to the Human Resource Development Division (Scholarship Desk) at the Ministry of Education is 6 June 2025.
