By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a murder late on Tuesday night in Belize City that claimed the life of Luis Marin, 24.
According to police, Marin, originally of Cotton Tree, Cayo District, and another family member were socializing at a Pinks Alley residence when an armed man entered and opened fire on Marin who was sitting on a sofa chair. He then fled and Marin’s body was pronounced dead just before midnight.
Marin, police confirm, was a suspect in Saturday’s shooting of Jamal Hyde, who was injured in a shootout near a supermarket in Belmopan.
