Nexa Credit Union proudly awarded 138 CPEA grants on 15 August 2025, to its members’ children who successfully passed this year’s Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA).
The annual grant initiative supports students as they begin their secondary school journey and recognises their hard work and determination.
Each grant is valued at $300, with $250 provided to assist with school-related expenses such as uniforms, books, and supplies, and $50 to begin or add to a Smart Saver account at Nexa. This savings reward is designed to encourage students to develop good money habits from an early age while celebrating their academic success.
“At Nexa, we believe in the power of education and the importance of celebrating hard work and potential,” said Retesha Smith-Boyd, General Manager of Nexa Credit Union “Our CPEA Grant Programme reflects our continued commitment to the development of our members and their families, and we’re proud to play a role as these bright young minds begin the next exciting phase of their education.”
The CPEA Grant programme is one of Nexa’s longstanding education-focused initiatives, aimed at supporting members and promoting financial literacy from a young age. Nexa extends heartfelt congratulations to all recipients and wishes them continued success in their studies.
