Ocean Oasis Hotel Dominica will officially open its doors to the public today.
The ceremony began at 3:0 P.M.
The 4-star hotel, which is located in Castle Comfort on the southwest coast of the island, offers a total of 37 oceanfront rooms and one Presidential Suite, which the company boasts features panoramic views, contemporary design, and thoughtful service.
The hotel was approved under the Citizenship By Investment (CBI) Programme.
“Well come Friday, 14th of November as we promised the hotel will officially open its doors to all visitors, friends, family members, anybody who wishes to look for a venue where they want to have activities, they want to relax and unwind, eat, dine, whatever it is, we will be opened,” Owner of Ocean Oasis Hotel Floyd Capitolin said while speaking to State-Owned Radio DBS.
He continued, “The property is a 37 regular room hotel, all ocean view rooms with a two-bedroom Presidential Suite as well as a casino, a spa, a conference centre, we also have a multipurpose room among other amenities [to include] a gym…”
According to Capitolin, in Dominica, there have been complaints of not enough hotel rooms, “and what we are doing is adding a few more rooms to the hotel stock.”
“We know that these rooms are minimal in terms of what are needed in Dominica as we speak, but we are aware and we are cognisant of the fact that the rooms that we are bringing into the public are top of the line, first class rooms equal to [what] persons will see in Dubai or in the developed countries and we are bringing in right here in Dominica,” he stated.
