OLLIE BEARMAN pulled on heartstrings as he got emotional after seeing his girlfriend in tears.
The Essex-born 20-year-old secured a jaw-dropping fourth at the Mexican Grand Prix for Haas, which was a career best-ever finish.
His girlfriend, Alicia Torriani was seen crying tears of joy with Bearman’s dad after the Grand Prix as the rookie gave his post-race interview.
Bearman’s dad David was seen embracing Torriani as she was overcome with emotion.
This moved the Haas driver who teared up during the interview in the media pen at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
After seeing his girlfriend in tears, Bearman said: “‘I wanted to battle with Max someday, but I didn’t think it would come that soon, so I am happy!”

Bearman added: “Definitely a crazy race. I’m a bit lost for words – at one point we were looking at the podium.
“I was bringing it home with a lot of nerves. At the end, P4 is a great result and we got both cars in the points.
“We really needed that good result, so I’m really, really happy. It was a crazy race. Good lap one – stayed out of trouble, just about.
“Then the incident with Max and Lewis [Hamilton] – I managed to benefit from that as well.”
Just two years ago, Bearman was in his debut season in F2.
He made history in that campaign as he became the first driver in the history of the category to top every practice session and win the feature race at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
In his first full campaign as a Formula One driver, he has finished in the top 10 a whopping seven times.
