Paradise Beach Club (PBC), Carriacou, is seeking to hire a chef with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences. PBC is a well-known, premium destination on Carriacou offering a vibrant and sophisticated atmosphere to locals, expats, day-trippers, and the yachting community.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have:
- Minimum 5 years culinary experience in busy, high-end restaurants
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- Strong understanding of Caribbean cuisine and international culinary trends
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on cost control and inventory management
- Understanding of all food safety and sanitation guidelines as required by Government of Grenada
Responsibilities
- Execute menus that enhance the customer’s culinary experience
- Prepare high-quality dishes that highlight local seafood and Caribbean flavours with international flair, while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and high standards
- Maintain consistency in portion control, plating, and presentation across all menu items
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Monitor inventory levels, minimise waste, and contribute to cost control initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation at all times
- Adapt to high-volume service periods while maintaining food quality and attention to detail
- Support training and mentorship of junior kitchen staff when required
