The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) has confirmed the arrest of Inspector Kellon Noel.
He has been charged with the offence of Non-Capital Murder by unlawfully causing the death of Wellington Welsh, 46 years old, caretaker of Non Pariel, St Mark. He was additionally charged with 2 counts of Grievous Harm. These charges stemmed from the shooting incident which occurred on Sunday, 27 April 2025, at Victoria, St Mark.
Noel is scheduled to make his first court appearance at the St George’s Magistrate Court on Monday, 5 May 2025. He has since been suspended from active duty in the Royal Grenada Police Force.
