
On November 13, 2025, the Rotary Club of Dominica organized a distinguished ceremony at the Dominica State College (DSC) to officially induct new members into the college’s Interact Club. This event highlighted the dedication of young individuals eager to embody Rotary’s core principles of service, leadership, and community involvement, said a media release from the organization.
It is reported that during the occasion, numerous students from DSC took the Interact pledge, becoming official members of one of Rotary’s most dynamic youth leadership initiatives. In addition to the induction ceremony, the Rotary Club of Dominica states that it awarded three academic scholarships to deserving students from the college. These scholarships recognized outstanding academic achievement, active community participation, and financial need. The club indicated that the awardees were celebrated for their resilience, integrity, and dedication to making a positive difference both on campus and within their local communities.
The scholarship winners included:
– Jonty Vidal, recipient of the Reginald Gomez-Burke Memorial Scholarship
– Carina Monica Harve, recipient of the Victor Josse Scholarship
– Keturah Charles, recipient of the John Archibald Scholarship
