Cargo operations at Shed 4 of the Bridgetown Port have been suspended today due to an environmental issue affecting the Customs Office.Barbados Port Inc. said the problem required industrial cleaning, prompting the temporary closure. However, port officials gave the assurance that container services and the delivery of personal effects from Shed 2 are continuing as normal, and the delivery and receipt of containers will remain in operation until 11 p.m.The port authority expects commercial activity at Shed 4 to resume on Wednesday.
