By Aaron Humes: A 57-year-old man, Vidal Patt, was found motionless in front of a store on Queen Victoria Avenue in Orange Walk Town today, Monday. Patt, a resident of San Narciso Village, Corozal District, was identified by his ex-common-law wife.
According to initial investigations by police, Patt arrived at the Curiosidadez Melvin Store at 1:51 pm and sat down in front of the store. The store owner provided him with tacos to eat. However, at around 2:50 pm, he noticed that Patt was lying down and unresponsive.


He called for assistance, and the body was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital (NRH). Dr. Nathalie Cal pronounced Patt dead at 3:50 pm. The body was viewed and examined, with no signs of physical violence or injuries observed.
It is reported that Patt was an alcoholic and had recently visited the NRH, where he was given a prescription. The investigation into Patt’s death is ongoing, and the cause of death has not been officially determined.
