Three people are currently being questioned by the police regarding the unlawful cultivation of cannabis.
On Wednesday, April 30, several police officers conducted a search operation in Pares, where they seized a significant quantity of cannabis plants growing on a property.
Two residents of Pares and one from Willikies were present on the property at the time and were subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
The police also confiscated several other items believed to be connected to the illegal operation.
Further investigations into the matter are ongoing.
