The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) advises the general public that the following traffic arrangements will be in effect for commissioning the new Police Headquarters on Friday, 28 March 2025.
NO THROUGH ROAD: The Carenage public road will be a no-through road from the Burns Point roundabout direction. Vehicles will not be able to go beyond the Bus Stop after Spice Isle Imaging Centre between 9 am and midnight.
NO LEFT TURN: Vehicles will not be able to make a left turn onto The Carenage from Hughes Street between 9 am and midnight.
NO ENTRY: The Carenage public road will be no entry from its intersection with Hughes Street towards the direction of Sendall Tunnel from 4 pm to 5 pm.
HUGHES STREET: There will be no entry to vehicular traffic from its intersection with Herbert Blaize Street from 4pm to 5 pm.
NO PARKING: The Carenage public road from Bailey’s Funeral Home to the bus stop opposite Andall Supermarket on both sides between 5 am and midnight.
- Lucas Street from its intersection with Old Fort to its intersection with Woolwich Road
- Lowther’s Lane public road
- Archibald Avenue from its intersection with Lowther’s Lane to its intersection with Woolwich Road
PARKING FOR NON VIP ATTENDEES: Parking for non VIP attendees will be at Old Trafford Playing Field and the outside perimeter of the Roy St John Playing Field.
SHUTTLE SERVICE: A shuttle service will be provided from the parking areas at Tanteen to and from the event with police buses.
