Two individuals were arrested and charged with two counts of summary offenses following an incident which occurred in Roseau on Friday 4th April, 2025.
According to police reports, they are to appear before a Roseau Magistrate Court on Monday 7th April 2025 where the charges will be read to them.
A video which went viral on Friday showed an altercation involving students in the vicinity of the arch in Roseau, resulting in one student throwing a liquid substance in the other’s face.
The CDPF wishes to advise parents to deal with issues at school, “in an amicable manner, not through violence in the public which does not augur well for the peacefulness of our beautiful country.”
