By Aaron Humes: A road traffic accident at the entrance of Yo Creek, just outside Orange Walk Town, has resulted in the deaths of two young men and left another individual hospitalized with serious injuries. The incident, which occurred earlier tonight, is being investigated as a potential hit and run, although police are still gathering evidence to confirm the details.
Eyewitnesses report that the victims were riding two separate motorcycles when the collision took place. Initial accounts suggest the possible involvement of another vehicle, but police have yet to establish the full circumstances surrounding the accident.
The injured individual was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital (NRH) in Orange Walk Town for urgent medical care.
