Weak unstable conditions due to the presence of a trough system is expected to generate an increase in cloudiness, shower activity and possible isolated thunderstorms during the next 24 to 48 hours. Gusty winds can also be expected during the period. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are advised to be on alert and to exercise caution.
Seas are expected to peak near 8ft along the eastern coastline and to near 5ft on the western coastline during today. A small craft advisory is in effect. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution.
