Lindy Madir, 27, of Massacre, succumbed to his injuries following a motor vehicle collision on Goodwill Road, near the Do It Center earlier today.
According to police reports, the accident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. and involved two motor vehicles and a motorcycle.
Madir was a pillion rider on the motorcycle, which was being operated by Donald Massicot, 34, of the Kalinago Territory.
Further reports indicate that the investigating officer, Corporal Bonnie P., supervised by Sergeant Bellot E., commenced inquiries and visited the accident scene.
Madir, who sustained critical injuries, was transported to the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH), where he underwent medical assessment and was pronounced dead.
His body is currently being held at the hospital’s morgue pending an autopsy. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
