Surinaamse hoofdredacteuren en journalisten hebben het Journalistencollectief Verkiezingen 2025 (JCV 2025) opgericht om tijdens het verkiezingsproces onafhankelijke, feitelijke en objectieve berichtgeving te waarborgen. Het collectief wil misinformatie tegengaan en roept autoriteiten op tot openheid en persvrijheid. Via diverse mediakanalen zullen zij verkiezingsnieuws verspreiden.
