By Aaron Humes: The management of Tropic Air is pleased to report that Fitzgerald Brown, the second of three persons injured, is out of hospital today following Holy Thursday’s hijacking of a plane between Corozal and San Pedro Town.
Pilot Captain Howell Grange remains in stable condition, per the company’s official statement.
All three men sustained stab wounds at the hands of American Akinyela Taylor, who was shot shortly after the plane landed at the Philip Goldson International Airport in Ladyville. He died in hospital minutes after being rushed for medical care.
Tropic Air issued thanks to the medical team caring for the men at home and in hospital and the continued support of the community, and promised further updates on their conditions.
