
New members have been appointed to the Public Accounts Committee and the Administration Committee in the Anguilla House of Assembly.
The committee must consist of between three and five members of the assembly, drawn from both sides, and the speaker will be the chair, the rules state.
During the latest sitting, the five committee members were appointed.
They are islandwide members Jose Vanterpool and Kyle Hodge, Valley North representative Shellya Rogers, Road South representative Haydn Hughes and Road North representative Merrick Richardson.
The motion for appointment of the committee said it will continue the assembly’s work on parliamentary reform aimed at improving its democratic and good governance standards.
