According to reports, at approximately 2:25 p.m., two armed male suspects entered the premises from the back of the yard and confronted the shopkeeper at gunpoint. The assailants demanded cash and quickly looted the day’s sales, along with assorted liquor, cigarettes, and two Samsung smartphones.

Before fleeing the scene, the suspects fired several gunshots into the air and escaped through the rear of the property.
Ladyville CIB officers responded swiftly and processed the scene. A 9mm expended shell was recovered. The area was canvassed, but no useful information has been obtained at this time. Surveillance footage is currently under review to assist with identifying the perpetrators.
