Investigation is ongoing to complete a case file in what appeared to be a suicide of a young man identified as Kalon Phillip “Skeng” of Fond Cole.
Phillip was discovered hanging in his house in the Housing Scheme area at Fond Cole on May 16, 2025, at about 4:15 PM.
Police confirmed to Dominica News Online (DNO) that an autopsy was conducted this week and the cause of death is consistent with a self-inflicted broken neck.
Meanwhile, a candlelight vigil is being organized for the deceased on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Fond Cole, Housing Scheme from 6:00 PM.
