The Dominica Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (DAIFA) has expressed its sincere congratulations to two of its distinguished members, Mrs. Cheryl Rolle and Mr. Brenton Hilaire, on attaining the Master Financial Advisor (MFA) credential from the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association (LIMRA).
A DAIFA statement shared that their journey toward this notable achievement began in 2018 and reached its culmination on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Hilton Hotel in Trinidad. The event was part of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (TTAIFA) graduation ceremony. The concluding segment of the program was conducted by Ms. Michelle Havelock from LIMRA, representing TTAIFA, symbolizing the culmination of years dedicated to rigorous study, practical application, and professional development.
According to the DAIFA, Mrs. Cheryl Rolle, serving as the Principal Representative of Sagicor Life EC in Dominica, brings nearly four decades—37 years—of extensive experience in the insurance sector. Her career is distinguished by exemplary service, mentorship, and leadership within the industry. Meanwhile, Mr. Brenton Hilaire, the Agency Manager at Sagicor Life EC in Dominica, has accumulated 16 years of experience spanning administration and sales. It also states that he remains a prominent figure and advocate for ongoing professional growth within the financial services field.
The LIMRA MFA designation is globally recognized and is considered the pinnacle of professionalism, ethical standards, and excellence in financial advising, as outlined by the release. It signifies a high level of mastery in areas such as client service, business management, and strategic financial planning—skills vital for the sustainable expansion of the insurance and financial services industry throughout the Caribbean.
In a letter of commendation, David N. Levenson, President and CEO of LIMRA, LOMA, and LL Global, reportedly praised both advisors for their discipline and dedication. He emphasized that the MFA credential “requires a real
commitment of time and effort and represents true professionalism.”

Hilaire expressed pride in the accomplishment, stating,“This accomplishment is a reflection of years of dedication, teamwork, and an unwavering pursuit of professional growth. It underscores our commitment within the industry to
continually raise the bar in service and performance.”
Mrs. Rolle echoed this sentiment, adding, “This milestone proves that learning never stops. It’s an honor to represent Dominica and to achieve such a distinguished level of certification alongside a colleague who shares the same passion for professional excellence. We continue to advocate for financial literacy in schools as we continue to provide protection for our nation.”
DAIFA stated that it celebrates this significant achievement as a testament to the high caliber of its members and as an inspiration to all financial advisors aspiring to excellence. It further expressed that it remains dedicated to fostering ongoing education and professional development among its members, aligning itself with international best practices to elevate the standards within the industry.
