By Rubén Morales Iglesias: 🇧🇿⚽ The U16 Belize Girls National Football Team are set to take on Guatemala’s U16 Tigritos Selection U16 squad in a pair of international friendlies this weekend, marking a key step in their preparation for upcoming regional competition.
The matches, scheduled for Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26, will be held in Petén, Guatemala. Game 1 kicks off at 3:00 pm at Estadio Marco Antonio Fión Castellanos in Flores, while Game 2 is set for 11:00 am at Estadio Comunal de Paxcamán in Santa Ana.
These friendlies offer the Belizean side a valuable opportunity to sharpen tactics, build team chemistry, and gain international experience ahead of future tournaments. The Tigritos Selection, representing Guatemala’s youth talent, promises a competitive challenge for the visiting Belizean squad.
