Maybe you know the waterfalls. Or the crater lake. Or the cacao farms. But if you don’t know the story of Grenada’s beaches, it’s time to come back and get a sandy education. Simply put, the island of Grenada has one of the best collection of beaches in the Caribbean, most of which are stunningly beautiful. But my favorite thing about Grenada is that every beach feels unique. Every stretch of sand in Grenada (or sister islands like Carriacou and Petite Martinique) has its own personality, its own unique traits. But what they all share is an ability to stay in your memory long after you’ve gone home from your island vacation.
Here are our favorite beaches in Grenada right now (including some gems in Carriacou and the Grenadines).

Grand Anse Beach
Grand Anse is the Grande Dame of beaches in Grenada — endless, walkable, filled with energy. It’s in many ways the “town square” of the islands, with something for everyone, whether you want to spend the day doing nothing, take a yoga class or do some important rum punch research. The sand is pristine, the water the perfect turquoise. It’s one of the most legendary beaches in the Caribbean for a reason.
