CHRIS Hughes has revealed the struggles of having a long-distance relationship with JoJo Siwa, as the couple spend the longest time apart since they met.
The Love Island star, 32, has opened up about how they will finally be reunited in time for Christmas.
JoJo, 22, and Chris – who are now already discussing their marriage plans – first became close during their 19-day stint in ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother house in April.
The pair have been inseparable ever since, and have made sure to have weekends away together and spontaneous holidays.
At the moment, they divide their time between the UK and the States.
But now Chris has revealed that when he sees JoJo at Christmas, it will be the longest time they have spent apart, as he opened up about their long distance romance.

SO IN LOVE
Emotional moment JoJo Siwa breaks down in tears after sweet message from Chris
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the hunk revealed: “She’s back in America at the moment… I’m going out to see her family the week before Christmas, to Orlando.”
Revealing he hadn’t seen her for two weeks, he told the outlet: “This will be, this space now, is like the longest I will have gone since I haven’t seen her.
“So it’s going to be, it’s going to be nearly four or five weeks by the time I see her again. So I’m going to see her the week before Christmas. I’m going to fly out there.
“I’ve got Sunderland vs Newcastle first, which obviously I’m a Sunderland fan. So Sunderland vs Newcastle on the 14th and I’m flying out, that’s on the Sunday, I’m flying out on the Monday the next day.
“And then I get to see her family, which will be really nice before Christmas. They do a lot for me, her mum and dad and brother and Abby as well. So we’re going to kind of all see each other before Christmas.”
BECOMING A COUPLE
During their time on CBB, Chris and JoJo insisted they were “just friends”.
However, their antics made fans wonder otherwise.
Scenes on CBB show saw them share a forehead kiss as well as a peck on the shoulder.
Viewers were continually left confused over Chris’ seemingly “flirty” behaviour towards JoJo – who had a partner, Kath Ebbs, at the time – before the pair secretly held hands in the bedroom.
Back in the real world, when JoJo had split with Kath, the duo then left fans convinced they were sending secret “love” signals during a TikTok video.
JoJo then clarified her relationship status with Chris in a joint interview on ITV daytime show This Morning in April, during which she said they shared a “soulmate friendship.”
Chris recently revealed how just weeks later, during their Mexico trip in May, they made things official.
He spoke openly about their connection on the Question The Default podcast with Harry Corin, in which he told “nothing was rushed or forced, it just happened.”
The reality star then confirmed it was when he flew to Mexico to surprise her at a festival she was playing at which happened few weeks after CBB – with her family there – where they became an item.
Chris said they “rekindled and met up in Mexico” and said: “I flew out to surprise her, which was nice.
“I spent a few days with her and her family in Orlando as well before flying home and that’s where it all started.”
Later in the chat, he said: “I went to Mexico and met up with her which is where the whole feelings developed and things changed.
“Which was lovely and no secret to anybody.
“But it was genuinely lovely and nothing was rushed or forced it just happened.”
He then told how they were managing long-distance at the moment yet would find a solution at some point.
MARRIAGE CHAT
It comes as JoJo recently hinted she was already planning her wedding.
One clue she is planning her nuptials came after she liked a post from a wedding planner called PoshVows.
The post was about the timeline of beauty treatments a bride needs in the run up to getting married.
Previously, the Boomerang songstress talked about her potential wedding plans in an exclusive chat with The Sun.
She said: “A wedding is a two-person thing. So we would have to decide what it looks like.
“But I do know that I want it to have a baby-blue scheme and I need to help Chris make the playlist.
“Otherwise, it’ll be all songs I don’t know!
“He likes to educate me on music. He loves The 1975 and all these boy bands, but I don’t know any of them as they are British.
“Give me some NSYNC or Backstreet Boys!
“At the end of the day, we have a very public life, but we are still two humans who love each other very much.”
